Terms of agreement Trainings

  1. General

    1. Fee is exclusive 21% VAT when applicable, as well as travel and accommodation
    2. Materials will be provided and are included in the fee. Any costs incurred towards special training materials will be billed after consultation
    3. Materials are the property of CIC unless otherwise stated and only for personal use
    4. All information provided by participants is treated confidentially by CIC and its trainers and employees who are bound by non-disclosure agreements for confidential information
    5. Invoices will be sent within a week after the training and should be paid within 30 days of the date on the invoice
  2. Cancellation/postponement policy

    1. If the client cancels or postpones the training after having signed the contract, a receipt of the cancellation or postponement will be sent to the client within a week. The following percentage of the expected fee will be invoiced
      1. After the confirmation agreement and up to 8 weeks of delivery date: 25%
      2. Between 8 weeks and up to 4 weeks prior to delivery date: 50%
      3. Between 4 weeks and up to 1 week prior to delivery date: 75%
      4. Within one week of delivery date: 100%
    2. Agreed fees for the cancellation or postponement will be invoiced and are to be paid within 30 days
    3. Any restitution owed CIC for cancellation on its part will be paid within 30 days of the cancellation
  3. Complaint procedure

    1. In case of a complaint against CIC, please contact the CIC Office Manager, Jorge Diaz at + 31 20 6242212 - to make an appointment within a two-week time span to discuss the issue. CIC will confirm receipt of the complaint within four weeks of the phone or email communication
    2. The complaint and resulting procedure will be kept confidential
    3. If the issue cannot be resolved internally within one month, an independent legal advisor from Zaan Advocaten, (Mr. Peter Wieringa, Westzijde 318, Zaandam, tel: 075 631 3121) will be consulted and you will be advised of this at least one month after the start of the complaint procedure. If more time is needed for research, you will be advised of the reasons for the delayed procedure within one month of the original complaint
    4. The final decision will be accepted, and the consequences handled by CIC. Complaints will be archived for seven years
    5. Agreed restitution will be paid within 30 days of the date of the final decision
